A letter from Robert to his mother, sent from Savannah, Georgia. Robert describes the beauties of Savannah, and potential plans to send his children to stay with his mother. He goes on to briefly describe his time in the northern cities of Philadelphia, Boston, and New York, and Cherokee Country as well. Lastly, he discusses his attempts to find a profession for his brother that will give him ambition. 4 handwritten pages and 1 envelope

His children have been sick and he is requesting a horse to be sent to him. His crops are not doing that great, neither are Jeni's, and he hopes Jeni's situation that she wrote to him about gets better. 3 handwritten pages.

This pamphlet gives advice to mothers traveling with babies and small children. Most of the information regards train travel but there are sections on bus and car travel as well. The pamphlet's advice assumes that the mother has no adults traveling with her.

This poster shows a group of civilian and military travelers crowded into a railway car. Many have grim or unhappy expressions on their faces. This World War II poster was intended to influence viewers to curtail unnecessary travel so that scarce transportation resources could be used for war purposes.
